Ipswich Bridal and Formal opened in February 2012 as Mikkie Finns! 

I wanted to be able to supply low-cost gowns to my local community, as well as help others get a bit of a return on their large cost purchases. So the Consignment option was the best for everybody. I take a % of the sale and pay the client the balance.

The Shop has evolved and grown from its humble beginnings 8 years ago and it currently stocks over 1000 gowns from 8 Bridal Stores plus a few Boutiques that have closed down.  I also have suppliers that I purchase from to outfit Bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride/Groom, School Formals, Gala Events, and of course Wedding Dresses.

We also Consign to Individuals who have unwanted items to sell. A great way to get some money back for those big ticketed purchases!

You won't find any big ticketed dresses here - unless I get another big label like the Vera Wang Gown I had on Consignment a few years ago! Most gowns are under $1000. With the average price for Wedding dresses $500.  I sold a lot of gowns during Co-Vid for $300 and always have plenty of options available.

Formal dresses are priced from $75 with the highest presently at $689.

The Shop has a great range available with quite a few Vintage Gowns in both Bridal and Formal available. Sizes range from 2 to 36. Not all sizes are available at all times, so feel free to contact me with what you are looking for and let me see if I can help!
